Testing Ideas for Product Rollouts
How to nail your next product rollout using my favorite testing strategies
Rolling out a new product and feeling the pressure? Whether you’re a Product Manager, CPO, or part of the product squad, I’ve got your back with no-nonsense strategies to keep things running smooth. In this blog post, I break down 3 common product rollout scenarios and how to handle them like a boss. 👇
-------------
Here’s a sneak peek of what I cover in the article Navigating Product Rollouts:
1. The “We Need This ASAP” Rollout 🏃♀️
When someone hits you with, "Can we launch this next week?"—it’s time to pump the brakes. First, ask the big questions: Is this even tested? If not, you’re playing with fire. I’ll show you how to use quick surveys, polls, and prototype tests to get that all-important data before hitting “go.”
2. The Chill, Well-Planned Launch 🚀
No rush? Perfect. This is your chance to do things right. From thorough market research to validating your ideas during development, I cover how to make sure your product lands with a splash, not a flop.
3. The Post-Launch Facepalm 🤦♀️
Product launched and… it tanked? Happens to the best of us. Don’t sweat it. I help you figure out what went wrong, reassess your goals, and pivot fast.

Conversions Tanking? Try This Quick Hack
So, your conversion rates just took a nosedive, and you're left scratching your head. 🤔 Don’t stress—there’s a super easy way to start figuring out what’s going on: run a poll.
It doesn’t need to be fancy. Seriously, you can ask just one question and still get major insights. There are tons of free or cheap tools out there (Hotjar is a personal fave), and it takes less than five minutes to set up. Quick, painless, and right to the point.
Now, sure, there’s a “perfect” way to analyze the data, but don’t overthink it. Even if you're not digging deep into the numbers, you can still get solid feedback that'll point you in the right direction. Sitting around wondering what went wrong isn’t a strategy—it’s suffering, and no one has time for that.
And don’t just stop at understanding what went wrong—you need to know why too. A poll can give you both without all the guesswork.
So, next time your conversions dip, don’t sweat it. Just ask your audience directly and let them fill you in. You’ll be back on track before you know it! 🤩
