This is a quote from Maria’s talk “Product-Led Growth (PLG) Decoded: Blueprint for Leading a PLG Effort in a SaaS Company with Buffer” at SaaStr. It was one of my favorites. I got so stoked about it that I was trying to hold in my nerdy excitement in my chair. 🤗
Conversion Rate Optimization = the creation of good user experiences and growth. 📈
It was a testament to the fact that CRO is truly encompassing (or incorporated into...depending on how you think about it) of SO MANY business initiatives. She talked about many CRO elements within her PLG motions; however, in her talk, they were not labeled as "CRO." It really re-sparks the debate in my head about how to accurately describe CRO within a business. 🤔
CRO doesn't get enough credit, and it's branding really doesn't help and do it justice.
CRO is THE way to go for business growth and domination.
From my personal experience and knowledge, CRO and growth go hand-in-hand. There is not one without the other. 🤝
It is a vital, non-negotiable part of what true dominators do. 💪
